Technical Manager
Inuka is partnering with a leading renewable energy fund known for its extensive expertise in energy transition infrastructure, investing across key markets in Southeast Asia from their regional headquarters in Singapore. To support their growing portfolio, they are seeking a Technical Manager to join their team in Singapore. The Technical Manager will be responsible for the technical evaluation and oversight of renewable energy projects within the fund’s portfolio. This role involves conducting technical due diligence and feasibility studies for potential investments, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and manage projects through development, construction, and operation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical assessments and due diligence for renewable energy projects, evaluating feasibility, technology, and associated risks.
- Manage technical aspects of project development and construction in collaboration with project teams to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Monitor operational performance of assets and implement improvements to optimise output and efficiency.
- Provide technical expertise and input to the investment team on potential acquisitions and ongoing projects.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay informed on the latest renewable energy technologies, trends, and regulatory developments.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline, with advanced degrees considered an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience managing technical aspects of renewable energy projects, ideally at utility scale.
- Strong technical knowledge of renewable energy technologies, including solar, wind, and energy storage systems.
- Proven ability to analyse energy yields, manage technical risks, and optimise project performance.
- Excellent project management, organisational, and communication skills.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with a commitment to achieving high-quality results.
