Senior Project Manager - Utility-Scale

The opportunity

Responsibilities

• •Lead the end-to-end delivery of a utility-scale Solar PV and BESS project from financial close through to commercial operation.
• •Take overall responsibility for project execution, ensuring delivery against project schedule, budget, quality, safety, and performance targets.
• •Manage and coordinate EPC contractors, Owner's Engineers, suppliers, government authorities, utilities, and internal project teams.
• •Oversee construction activities, site execution, logistics, procurement coordination, and project delivery activities.
• •Lead EPC contract management, cost control, contractor performance, claims management, and risk mitigation.
• •Manage project budgets, forecasts, schedules, and key project delivery milestones.
• •Coordinate FAT/SAT activities, commissioning, performance testing, and commercial operation handover.
• •Oversee the delivery and integration of utility-scale Solar PV, BESS, diesel generation, SCADA, EMS, substations, and electrical balance of plant systems.
• •Identify and proactively manage technical, commercial, logistical, regulatory, and operational risks.
• •Lead multidisciplinary teams across engineering, construction, procurement, and commissioning.
• •Manage key stakeholders and provide regular project reporting to senior leadership and internal teams.

Requirements

• •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• •10–15 years of experience managing large infrastructure and/or renewable energy projects.
• •Strong experience delivering utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects.
• •PMP, Chartered Engineer, or Professional Engineer certification is advantageous.
• •Experience with engineering tools such as PVsyst, ETAP, PSSE, and/or PSCAD is advantageous.
