The opportunity
Our client is a global energy transition company looking to recruit a Procurement Lead based in Rabat. The role will oversee procurement activities across the project lifecycle, managing suppliers, contractors, and key commercial relationships.
Responsibilities
- Lead procurement strategy across major energy transition projects.
- Manage sourcing, tendering, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, contractors, and strategic partners.
- Oversee procurement activities from project development through execution and delivery.
- Monitor costs, timelines, supplier performance, and commercial risks.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and project value.
Requirements
- 7–10+ years of procurement experience within energy, infrastructure, construction, or a related sector.
- Strong experience managing complex procurement and supplier relationships.
- Proven track record negotiating commercial and supply contracts.
- Strong understanding of project procurement and contract management.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English required; French or Arabic advantageous.
