The opportunity
Our client is a renewable energy platform developing and operating utility-scale solar, wind, and energy storage projects across Southeast Asia. The Permit Manager will act as a key interface with government authorities, ensuring solar assets remain compliant throughout construction and operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage permits, regulatory documentation, official correspondence, and compliance records.
- Lead engagement with government authorities and key project stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, lenders, shareholders, and other external parties.
- Oversee documentation and administrative governance for operating assets.
- Manage spare parts inventory and stock control for operating assets.
- Track operating asset expenses and costs.
- Prepare management presentations and formal correspondence in Thai and English.
- Support regulatory and operational requirements across Thailand.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in permit management, regulatory compliance, or government liaison.
- Experience in power generation or renewable energy strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of licensing, regulatory requirements, and compliance for power assets.
- Experience working with government authorities and relevant regulatory agencies.
- Strong communication, negotiation, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English and Thai.
- Willingness to travel and work outside Bangkok as required.
