The opportunity
Our client is a renewable energy developer seeking a Legal Counsel based in Vietnam. The role will provide legal advice across project development and execution, supporting commercial and project teams on a range of legal matters.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice across renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
- Draft, review, and negotiate project, commercial, and corporate agreements.
- Support project development, construction, financing, and operational activities.
- Identify and manage legal and contractual risks across projects.
- Advise internal stakeholders on regulatory and contractual matters.
- Coordinate with external legal counsel and other advisers as required.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
- 2+ years of experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or a related sector.
- Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and legal advisory skills.
- Good understanding of project development and commercial agreements.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English; Vietnamese language skills preferred.
