The opportunity
Our client is an infrastructure investment and asset management firm seeking a Head of Private Equity to drive investment activities, oversee portfolio performance, and develop relationships with institutional investors and strategic partners.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute investment strategies aligned with fund objectives and market opportunities.
- Originate, evaluate, and lead infrastructure investment transactions.
- Oversee financial modelling, valuations, due diligence, and transaction structuring.
- Manage portfolio performance and identify opportunities for value creation.
- Lead fundraising initiatives and maintain relationships with institutional investors.
- Oversee investment governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and mentor investment professionals.
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is advantageous.
- Strong experience in private equity, infrastructure investments, and transaction execution.
- Proven track record in deal sourcing, financial modelling, due diligence, and investment structuring.
- Experience managing investment portfolios and driving asset performance.
- Demonstrated fundraising and investor relationship management capabilities.
- Strong leadership, commercial judgement, and stakeholder management skills.
