The opportunity
Our client is a renewable energy company recruiting a Head of Commercial (Legal) based in Singapore. This role will oversee commercial negotiations, legal risk, and contract management across regional renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead negotiation of commercial and project agreements.
- Provide legal and commercial support across project development and investments.
- Manage contract risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Support M&A, project finance, and strategic partnerships.
- Work closely with development, finance, and executive teams.
- Manage external legal advisors where required.
Requirements
- 10+ years of legal and commercial experience within infrastructure or renewable energy.
- Strong experience negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Experience supporting project finance or M&A transactions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Qualified lawyer preferred.
