The opportunity
Our client is a global energy services provider delivering turnkey EPC and O&M solutions across emerging and remote markets. The Group Global Procurement Director will lead procurement strategy, manage critical equipment sourcing, and build a scalable international procurement function.
Responsibilities
- Lead group-wide procurement and supply chain strategy across international power projects.
- Oversee sourcing, tenders, contracts, supplier negotiations, and equipment delivery.
- Manage technical, commercial, logistical, and supplier risks across the project lifecycle.
- Lead procurement of CCGT, gas turbine, thermal generation, and balance-of-plant equipment.
- Manage relationships with OEMs, equipment owners, EPC contractors, and suppliers.
- Identify and assess new, surplus, refurbished, and used generating equipment.
- Build and lead an effective international procurement team.
Requirements
- Senior procurement or supply chain leadership experience in power, EPC, or energy infrastructure.
- Direct CCGT and balance-of-plant experience is essential.
- Strong knowledge of gas turbines, thermal generation, and major equipment packages.
- Experience managing equipment from specification and sourcing through delivery.
- Track record working across emerging, frontier, or remote markets.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, supplier management, and team leadership skills.
