The opportunity
Our client is an independent power producer with a growing portfolio of wind and solar assets across Southern Africa. Backed by long-term infrastructure capital, the platform is entering its next phase of growth and is seeking a CFO to build an institutional-grade finance function.
Responsibilities
- Own group financial strategy, reporting and controls
- Lead project finance structuring and lender relationships
- Partner with the CEO and board on capital raising
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (CA(SA), ACA or equivalent)
- 12+ years' experience with meaningful time in energy or infrastructure
- Proven project finance and debt structuring track record
- Experience operating in emerging markets
