The opportunity
Our client is a renewable energy investment platform seeking an Assistant Director, Investments based in Manila. The role will support the investment process across origination, due diligence, evaluation, and transaction execution.
Responsibilities
- Support origination and evaluation of renewable energy investment opportunities.
- Conduct financial, commercial, and market analysis on potential investments.
- Support due diligence, valuation, financial modelling, and investment recommendations.
- Assist with transaction structuring, negotiations, and execution.
- Develop investment materials for internal investment committees and stakeholders.
- Build relationships with developers, investors, advisers, and other market participants.
- Monitor renewable energy markets and identify new investment opportunities.
Requirements
- 5–8+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, infrastructure, or renewable energy investing.
- Strong financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis skills.
- Experience executing transactions from due diligence through to financial close.
- Understanding of renewable energy and infrastructure investments preferred.
- Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
